Getting Support With Failsafe Alerts
Get a little moral support.
Get a hug. Find someone to confide in. Ask someone to watch out for you. These seemingly small actions can give a powerful boost to your well-being, by diffusing stress and anxiety. Here are some examples of how Failsafe works:

2. Stop things from escalating.
Big things begin as little things that mount up. Sliding doors moments where there was an opportunity to stop things from escalating. Flagging a problem early, to someone who’s not involved in it, will change the course of events and produce a much better outcome for you:
If your credit card debt rises every month, get assistance to organise your money.
If you plan to run away, reach for support to try to sort the situation first.
If you see knife carrying, flag the danger now, before it becomes knife use.
After trauma, take the edge off the dark moments. Talking is therapy for PTSD.
3. Get out of danger.
Send a red alert to stay safe. Stage your own mini-intervention and stop things going badly wrong when you can’t stop them yourself. Red alerts communicate more urgency than the others. Include your location, too, for these, so that you can be found easily.

Tip! For simple issues send 1 alert to 1 person. For big stress, you might send the same alert to 3 people, or different alerts to different people to summon a variety of help. Use the alerts in the way that works for you.
Also includes Giving Alerts - to make other people feel good.
The alert system can be used in education, medical and workplaces too.
